Ranthambore National Park & Udaipur Will Be Connected to Agra Soon by The Vande Bharat Express

The Vande Bharat Express, which will link Udaipur and Ranthambore National Park to Agra, is set to bring about a huge and momentous development that will thrill adventurers and travellers worldwide. The expansion of the Vande Bharat railways will reduce the journey time and will boost tourism in the regions of Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur and Agra.

New Circuit Tourism Via Vande Bharat Express

As per the instruction from the Railway Board, the Vande Bharat Express train will run from Udaipur to Agra Fort, making stops at specific stations such as Sawai Madhopur. Both domestic and foreign tourists should gain from this new circuit.

It has been projected that this new train route would open up new tourism opportunities, boosting the local economy. The Vande Bharat Express is anticipated to bring in a large influx of tourists, stimulating the local economy and opening up new prospects for the residents of Sawai Madhopur and the neighbouring districts.

The new development will make it simple for visitors to the Taj Mahal to arrange trips to Ranthambore and Udaipur. Those travelling to Udaipur can also tour Kota and other nearby tourist sites, which are located on the same route.

Vande Bharat Express Operating Days and Timings

Travellers will have the freedom to choose their itineraries since the Vande Bharat train from Lake City to the land of the Taj Mahal will run on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday for three days a week.

In earlier times, travelling from Agra to Udaipur could take up to 14-17 hours but now after the successful development of the new route, the train boasts a remarkable speed of 160 km/h and will connect all three cities in a quicker travel time than before.

  • Udaipur to Agra - 8 hours and 45 minutes
  • Sawai Madhopur to Agra - 5 hours and 12 minutes
  • Udaipur to Sawai Madhopur - 3 hours and 25 minutes

The Vande Bharat Express will depart from Udaipur at 5:45 a.m., halting at different stations such as Rana Pratap Nagar Station, Mavli Junction, Berach, Chanderiya, Kota, and ultimately Sawai Madhopur at 11:03 a.m. The train will next link Gangapur City and Bayana before arriving at Agra Fort at 2:30 p.m.
